Still, Jonathan Landman hasn't taught Macaulay a darn thing about reviewing ballet. Maybe his replacement will send Macaulay to ballet boot camp. I understand they have classes for older adults in the city. Could be a good experience for Mr. Eyes Wide Shut.

Angelica, I totally agree that a critic cannot adequately review a ballet performance without having stood at a ballet barre and actually studied the art form at some time in his life. If you're not familiar with the basic DOs & DON'Ts of the art form, you cannot appraise what others do. These pretenders like Macaulay do nothing but harm the art form.
