So glad you made it! Can't wait to hear!

OMG! When I see a ballet that moves me so much I just want quiet time to to enjoy the experience. Your photo tells me that Yuriko and Aaron gave that kind of performance.

I'm flying from Atlanta to Houston to see the Karina Gonzalaz/Charles-Louis Yoshiyama cast on Sept 20. I'm very much looking forward to it as well as to your review of yesterday's cast. I had Manon ticket before cast announcement; it was a replacement for last June when I flew to Houston for Taming of the Shrew and it was cancelled one hour before it was supposed to start.

Houston Ballet refunded my full ticket price and gave me free ticket to upcoming show of my choice to help make up for wasted airfare.

I'll wait to purchase Giselle ticket until casts are announced, even if it means higher airfare.

Having seen Karina perform years ago in rep with Tulsa Ballet, I know she will excel in Manon as well.

I'll get a blog post up tomorrow sometime. It's been a full day on little sleep.

Yes, I'm a little disappointed to miss Yuriko, but I've been studying the Houston Ballet dancers, and Karina is on my short list of dancers I want to see. Sunday will be a long day for me - up at 4 am and not home until 11 pm since I'm flying to and from Houston on the same day rather than spending the night. Management was very concerned with making things right for me after my disappointment last June when I also flew there and back the same day-with no ballet to see upon arrival.

Have a great night's sleep, and we'll all be here tomorrow!
