Haglund, that is EXACTLY my problem with ABT's casting. I'm already assuming there won't be a single evening I'd be able to sit through. Especially if a certain someone is on the program. Now, if David Hallberg were suddenly to emerge from the shadows, that would make any other dancer irrelevant and I'd go to see anything ANYTHING in which he'd be cast.

While I wouldn't make the commitment that you have made, I would certainly extend my limits of tolerance if Hallberg managed to make it back for the fall. I'm not expecting this Prodigal Son to make it back this October, but imagine him with Veronika as The Siren. There's no reason a PS needs to be short; Woetzel wasn't short.

Angelica, we should keep our eyes on the spring performances at Washington Ballet just in case Hallberg decides to ease back into the spotlight with an early, low key Albrecht or Oberon.
