Tulsa Ballet visits the Joyce Theater August 10-15 with an eclectic program that includes Kenneth MacMillan's Elite Syncopations, Nacho Duarto's Por Vos Muero, and something by Korean choreographer Young Soon Hue called This Is Your Life, based, of course, on that delightful television program in the 1950s-60s. The mystery remains whether the choreographer used Ralph Edwards' version as inspiration or Johnny Carson's and Dom DeLuise's memorable send-up of poor, unsuspecting Burt Reynolds. This really opens up so many choreographic avenues: why not a new ballet based on the old TV program Queen for a Day with Ja-a-ack Bailey?
