Haglund is looking forward to the abbreviated season at Avery Fisher Hall in less than two weeks, especially the Seven Sonatas offering by Alexei Ratmansky to Scarlatti's Keyboard Sonatas.
But why is there no ABT microsite for the three new pieces of choreography? It kind of suggests that perhaps they don't want to build up our expectations, doesn't it? No matter – Haglund's expectations for two of the three new pieces are moderate: He's simply hoping for something more than the usual McBallet w/ fries.
