Attention All L.A. Area Haglund'eelers:
The season opening Gala Performance of the Los Angeles Philharmonic on September 27th will feature Veronika Part and Roberto Bolle performing excerpts from Swan Lake.
Wherever you are, whatever crime you have to commit to get a ticket, however low you have to grovel to get in the door, DO NOT MISS THIS EVENT!
Mr. Gene Schiavone's exquisite, heart stopping, breath snatching, tear producing image of Veronika and Roberto is below. When you see this live on stage, you will think that you have died and gone to heaven.
!!!!
I don't know what we did to deserve so much Veronika Part in SoCal these next two months, but I am thrilled! Thanks for the heads up Haglund. I will be basking in her aura this Friday in Irvine as well-no idea what she's performing but does it truly matter?

Not fair. Not fair. Not fair. Veronika is dancing more in LA than she does here - (only a slight exaggeration)
Gustavo Dudamel will probably FLIP over Veronika.

We need some classical relief for having Millepied foisted off on us and the inundation of Ardani curated events.
It's too bad this doesn't appear to be one of the LA Phil LIVE events...not sure if they are continuing that series this season or not.

What a nice photo! Though I would consider it even more beautiful had Veronika closed her eyes as well. But I do not want to sound picky, it is still so much better than most of what we get these days.

As it's the opening night gala, ticket prices will be astronomical. Damn.
Of course, there's always the Tchaikovsky Spectacular at the Bowl on 9/7 & 8, it includes:
Marcelo Gomes, Paloma Herrera, Veronika Part and Cory Stearns in excerpts from "Swan Lake" and "The Nutcracker".
I already have my tickets, I can't wait.
