Edward Villella will be NYCB's Guest of Honor at the Ruby Ball Gala on July 13th at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. The performance will include Balanchine's Rubies in addition to rep by Martins, Wheeldon, and Robbins.
This is a very good sign that NYCB's talented artists may receive the honor of working with the originator and powerful interpreter of some of Balanchine's greatest works.
