Great news about Yuriko Kajiya and Jared Matthews in Neumeier's Midsummer Night's Dream, as well as the Royal Ballet performances in cinemas! Thanks for keeping us posted, Haglund.

Haglund, where are you finding the casting information? This link: http://www.roh.org.uk/showings/swan-lake-live-2015 indicates Osipova & Golding for Swan Lake, but perhaps it is outdated...?

Hi CMM. Here's where I found the info:

http://www.roh.org.uk/productions/swan-lake-by-anthony-dowell

It shows Osipova & Golding on March 13 & 17, but not on March 19th. I'm confused, too. The current news article to which I linked above said that the livestream would be on March 19th and it is that way on the Fathom website, too: http://www.fathomevents.com/event/the-royal-ballet-season-2014-15/more-info/201415-royal-ballet-cinema-season

I'm sure that it will all get ironed out soon enough. Thanks for letting us know that there is still some uncertainty about both the cast AND the date of the transmission.

I think the live streams are not live to the u.s. because of the time difference. What I remember from last year is that we got them a day or two later.

Off topic. You probably have already seen this from about an hour ago, but just in case you haven't, here is the link: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2014/07/prweb12038612.htm

WOW. Just wow. Angel is back and he's within commuting distance for the NYC audience! What a smart, smart, smart Board of Directors to give Angel this opportunity.

Robin, that makes sense. I know that some of the Fathom presentations were delayed by 5 or 6 hours, and some of the Ballet in Cinema presentations came a day or two later. I guess we won't know until someone clears it up.

Fathom is also presenting the live Bolshoi Ballet productions this season! http://www.fathomevents.com/event/bolshoi-ballet-2014-15-season/more-info/bolshoi-ballet

They are showing only 4 of 7 of the Bolshoi titles: The Legend of Love, Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet. The rest of the season is here: www.bolshoiballetincinema.com

Hi Haglund,

Do you know where ROH and Bolshoi's 2014/15 productions will be shown in NYC?

Many thanks for your tireless efforts to appraise us on ballet news! Your latest observations about Angel and Veronika are especially exciting.

Hi Irina.

Usually the Imax on 42nd Street off of 8th Avenue shows the presentations. Sometimes the Union Square and Kips Bay will show them, too. The best way to check is to go to the Fathom Events website pages for the ROH and Bolshoi and plug in your zip code for a list of theaters.
