Sometime ago the Buenos Aires Herald ran an interview with one of its most famous citizens, Paloma Herrera. When asked whether there was a lack of discipline in the new generations of dancers, here is part of what she said:
New generations are great, I enjoy watching them so much from the front but the work ethics, the way things are done is changing, the technology, the constant use of phones, and not as much passion, not as much commitment. I don’t feel I belong to that. I feel kind of out of place now.
Not as much commitment. No kidding.
