Ballet Hispanico has put out a call out for temporary rehearsal space and computer equipment as the result of the damage to their studios on Monday night from the water main break. Any offers of assistance or good ideas can be emailed to [email protected] .
Also, you can donate to Ballet Hispanico's 2016 Flood Recovery Fund here: https://www.ballethispanico.org/support/flood
What a mess their place is. Some may not know that Ballet Hispanico's facility is on the National Registry of Historic Places - pictured below in dryer times. It was originally part of the horse stables and carriage houses designed by Frank Rooke in the late 1890s. The Romanesque Revival building was restored to its extraordinary beauty in 1989 to become the new home for Ballet Hispanico. What a shame. If you could drop a coin or two in their kettle, that would be a big help.
Thank you for the link Haglund and will be helping out, hope more will do likewise to help these dancers!

Just saw an interview and walk through if the unfortunate damages on CBS national news this morning :( so much damage and really hope people will come together to help! Maybe having this on the news will help more? So often the arts are forgotten and other sports are always given attention.
