We all wondered what Kyra Nichols was up to when she and her husband, David Gray, announced their departures from Pennsylvania Ballet as ballet mistress and executive director. Well now we know!
Kyra has been named the Kathy Ziliak Anderson Chair in Ballet at Indiana University, the position previously held by the brilliant and much loved Violette Verdy who passed away in 2016.
Carla Körbes, former star of Pacific Northwest Ballet, will also join Indiana University's faculty as an Associate Professor.
