The U.S. judge presiding over the issue of whether the FBI-seized documents from Michael Cohen's office are protected via attorney-client privilege is none other than Judge Kimba Wood, long time board member of NYCB.
Now today we learned that the Trump administration's immigration guard dogs mutts have denied visas to ballet stars Olga Smirnova and Jacopo Tissi to travel to New York to dance at the YAGP Gala. The government's explanation was along the lines of since the two were traveling as individuals instead of part of a performing group, they are now ineligible to enter the U.S. under the particular application filed for them - even though they've done so many times before. We shall just have to wait and see how the Trumpmutts treat Osipova when May rolls around.
This seems a little tit for tat, if you don't mind our saying so.

Aeroflot crews are also experiencing difficulty in getting visas due to what the Russian foreign ministry has described as a U.S. "visa wall". The Bolshoi office noted that the visa application for Jacopo Tissi, an Italian national living and working in Russia, was also held up; thus, the problem could possibly have been a procedural matter unrelated to current political tensions. We're sure that's what the Trump Administration would want everyone to think.
