Melanie Hamrick is taking a brief leave of absence from ABT until the spring to work with Mick Jagger on a ballet set to Stones tunes. Mick will edit the score which is expected to include selections from ‘You Can’t Always Get What You Want,’ ‘Paint It Black’ and ‘She’s a Rainbow.’  According to Page Six of the NY Post, Melanie's choreography will premiere at the Mariinsky Festival in March and will have its U.S. premiere at the YAGP Gala in New York April 18, 2019.
