I drove to see PA Ballet do Giselle in March (16th) and it was fantastic! Bravo to Corella for elevating the company to a great standard that will surely be able to compete against ABT and NYC Ballet if he stays the course.

I totally agree. Would like to see them on a big stage in New York the next time they visit. I think that right now they could easily take any one of their big programs to the opera house stage at Kennedy Center and be a smash hit -- so long as they pick the right time (non-election week, non-holiday, non-blizzard).

Haglund, don't know if you've heard, but the Morris' documentary "Nureyev" will begin a two week run at Film Forum on Houston Street, beginning Friday, June 7. This will be great opportunity for those of us unable to attend the June 1 showing. Film Forum will have five shows a day!
