Heartfelt thanks for the Giselle alert. For Vishneva's sublimity, there are not sufficient words of thanks.

Thanks for the alert. I really enjoyed Vishneva in Giselle last night.

Just want to say that I thought Vishneva's performance in the role of Giselle at 40 was marvelous. No noticeable decline anywhere. Really a very moving performance.

Vishneva was sublime. I saw her dance Giselle at ABT about 8 years ago and agree that there was no noticeable decline. Both Mariinsky's and Bolshoi's Giselle shows Albrecht's entering in Act II with his "squire", whom ABT's production omits. Does anyone know which is in the original. I prefer Albrecht alone.

Vishneva is astonishing, wish I could've seen her live. Haglund, would she be on your Mt. Rushmore for ballerinas?
