This morning many New Yorkers are wondering: Since there is no briefing by Governor Cuomo today, what's the point in getting out of bed?
I know. I know. We're on our own for the first time in 112 days. We can do this, People. We have to.
Take a swig of hot coffee and meander on over to Mariinsky.TV/e and poke the framed box below the main attraction that says Documentary - June 18th. Skip to the 40' mark in the video for about 10 minutes of documentary about the Mariinsky Ballet featuring Diana Vishneva and other great ones along with historical clips of Pavlova, Plisetskaya, and others.
Haglund just checked the governor's schedule on his website. He clocked into the office at 8am on this Saturday morning. Maybe he'll pop out later to say something...anything...
I had been listening to Governor Cuomo from the midwest, and will also miss his clear and honest assessment. Many of us in the U.S. see him as a national leader during the pandemic. After all, New York was the nation's first capital!

Hi, Georgiann. I'd heard that Governor Cuomo has something of a national audience. We think the world of him. Glad that you are able to listen to him, too.
