The original announcement referenced the corner of West 64th Street & COLUMBUS AVENUE, which does not exist, despite the street signs. West 64th Street has ended on the east side of Broadway for many years now, although a continuing paved pathway for pedestrians exists, which would be a poor excuse for a street. The announcement NOW references the corner of West 64th Street and Broadway, which does exist (on the east side of Broadway). Who knows where they're going to put the sign?

LOL. It's going to be right at the "corner" of Columbway & 64th.

Oh, I wish that I could travel just for the Jacques Place unveiling, Haglund! A most worthy honor…and close to George Balanchine Way (63rd & Columbus) in front of PJ Clarke’s/Empire Hotel.
